Carlson Strategic Ventures ("CSV") is the investment "arm" of The Carlson Company, Inc. CSV makes opportunistic and value-added investments in the multi-family, mixed-use, office and residential-income property types.

CSV was created and is headed by Mike D. Carlson, President and Director of The Carlson Company, Inc.

CSV primary area(s) of focus/participation includes either investing solely on behalf of clients of The Carlson Company, Inc. or in partnership with The Carlson Company, Inc.

CSV's role includes:

• Opportunity identification
• "Sponsorship" and/or "Facilitator" for pooled-fund investment structures
• Raising and co-investment of equity/capital
• Securing/arranging of debt capital [loan(s)]
• Investment due diligence
• Investment/asset management
• Managing of CSV and/or client funds and all acquisition/disposition functions

CSV invests its own capital as well as capital from qualified private individuals and their families. We have established a network of client/investor relationships that have been developed over the years to help facilitate quality "pooled-fund" investment opportunities for the small-mid size investor.
